TTU TECH-FAIR SUCCESSFULLY COMES TO AN END
The Pro Vice Chancellor of Takoradi Technical University, Prof. Victor Kweku Bondzie Micah has described the 4-day maiden TTU Technology and Innovation Fair as a success. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Tech-Fair which was on the theme; Think Smart, Be Innovative and Create Wealth, Prof. Micah said despite the Tech-Fair being the first of its kind in the history of the University, was basically flawless, therefore thanked management, planners, implementors and Faculty members for their encouraging contribution to a successful fair.
While thanking patrons of the Tech-Fair which cut-across students and the business community, the Pro VC assured that the TTU Tech-Fair wouldn’t be a 9-day-wonder, hence reemphasized the Vice Chancellor’s earlier assurance to make the fair a major annual event on the University’s calendar to enable students to exhibit their innovations.
Some patrons and Deans of all the Faculties in their short assessment of the Tech-Fair at the closing ceremony said the fair was inspiring and refreshing which gave students and lecturers the platform to exhibit their innovations.
Other officials present at the closing ceremony included Evang. Prof. Anthony Joe Turkson, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. John Bentil, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Solomon Abakah Keelson, Dean of the Business School, Prof. Afua Nkrumah, Director of IPELO and Prof. Ramos Asafo-Adjei of CELIBS.
