The price that Ghanaian rapper Yaw Tog, real name Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, charges his patrons when they book him for a performance, has been made public.
The rapper revealed that Ghc40,000 is the most he has ever charged a client during an appearance on the Uncut Show with lifestyle & celebrity blogger Zionfelix.
Yaw Tog, who was a little cautious when it came to charging fees, said he couldn’t exactly recall the largest sum he had ever billed a client, but he thinks it was probably around GHc40,000.
The type of show or event that his clients want him to play at, however, determines the amount of money that he will ask them to pay.
Meanwhile, the artist has finally opened up on the inspiration behind his “Sophia” Song.
According to him, the initial title was “So Fire” but it did not sound cool enough for him so he decided to play with the minds of his fans by rephrasing the song title to “Sophia” just to get his fans thrilled.
