Top Ghanaian music performers, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Gyakie have been added to the list of superstars who will be part of the maiden edition Afrobeats Festival in scheduled for Berlin, Germany from July 9 to 10.
Sarkodie Bet Award winner and best Rapper in Ghana, Stonebwoy, the famed dancehall recording act, and Gyakie, the Afrobeats artist, will be representing Ghana at the Afrobeats Festival Germany, which will be headlined by Nigerian Davido and Wizkid and will feature American singer Erykah Badu as a special guest.
Alewya, Tiwa Savage, BNXN, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, Rema, Gabzy, Ladipoe, Omah Lay, L.A.X, Lojay, Ruger, and others are among the musicians set to perform at the festival.
The event is being organised to celebrate African culture, empowering African artistes and giving them the platform to connect to the audience on the global music scene.
The festival is an all-inclusive music and arts event meant to celebrate and eulogize African culture across various continents, not just Africa.
