The Ministry of Education and Research (MER) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) together sponsor the Romanian scholarship, which is available to international students planning to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or doctorate degrees in Romania.

How to get Selected
- All applicants may submit an application, with the exception of those from EU member states.
- The most recent academic records from an accredited institution must be submitted by the applicants.
- Applications from candidates must be turned in within the enrollment period.
- With the exception of pharmacy, dentistry, and medicine, all fields are accessible for applications.
- Candidates who do not possess the required level of proficiency in Romanian will be forced to take language courses.

- ONLY through the Study in Romania portal are you able to submit your scholarship application. By selecting the Apply for MFA Scholarships button at https://studyinromania.gov.ro or by going straight to https://scholarships.studyinromania.gov.ro, you may access the platform.
- Create an account on the Study in Romania website, fill out the requested information, and upload the requested documents to submit an application.
- Please refrain from sending documents to the MFA, the MNE, or by email.
