In a Twitter post, the Ghanaian Award Winning Blogger and digital marketer ShyBlogAfrica stated that TikTok rose to become one of the best digital music marketing promoters about two years ago.
It saw most artists streaming to the platform to market their music daily as the audience of TikTok grew massively overnight.
The artists collaborated with TikTok influencers to advertise their music on their various platforms to boost their listeners and followers.
This increased the artiste’s fun base exponentially. But there seems to be a dwindling all of a sudden.
It seems the influence of TikTok on the music industry in Ghana seems to have silenced now or is it still booming and we haven’t taken notice of it.
