Alleged ‘drunk’ Jetstar passenger dropped off plane by five cops
An allegedly drunk woman was escorted off the plane by five police officers after passengers on board started heckling her.
The 42-year-old woman was reported to have refused to cooperate with the plane staff after some passengers on the plane were heard chanting “Hey Hey Goodbye”.
The woman who was causing a commotion on the plane was traveling on JQ631 from the Gold Coast to Melbourne. The woman reportedly agreed to leave the plane after some negotiations with a male police officer.
The video of the incident was shared on social media by a passenger who disclosed that the three-hour flight had been delayed for an hour over the incident.
“This is ridiculous: one of the travelers was heard in the video saying.
“There we go… they’ve grabbed her”, another passenger said as the male officer was seen grabbing the wrist of the woman.
“C’mon mum, get off”, a third man jokes as she marched down the aisle.
A spokesperson of Jetstar disclosed to Daily Mail that, “
‘We requested the assistance of the Australian Federal Police after a passenger became increasingly disruptive prior to departure and refused to follow crew instructions,’ the spokesperson said.
‘The safety of our customers and crew is our number one priority and we have zero tolerance for disruptive behaviour.’
